Please include your Apple ID or Google Play email, the device and OS version, and the app version (Settings > About). If you’re reporting a specific question, tap “Report a content issue” in the question screen — that sends me the question ID and your notes in one go, which is much faster than a screenshot.

Response times

  • Paying subscribers (monthly, annual, lifetime): first response within 48 hours on business days (UK, Monday–Friday).
  • Free trial and free tier: first response within 7 days.
  • Security issues: flagged and triaged within 24 hours, whether you’re paid or not.

If I’m on leave, the email auto-responder will tell you and extend the SLA. I run this app solo for now — no outsourced tier-1 desk, no canned AI replies.

Report a content issue

The fastest way to flag a wrong answer, a typo, or a question that feels off: open the question in the app, tap the menu (···), and choose Report a content issue. You’ll be asked to pick a reason (inaccurate, outdated, unclear, offensive, other) and add a short note. The report includes the question ID, your app version and your user ID so I don’t have to play detective.

Reports go into my review queue. Valid issues are corrected in the next content release (typically weekly). If I don’t agree with a report I’ll reply explaining why — you won’t get silence.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

You cancel through the store you bought from — not through me. I can’t cancel a subscription on your behalf, and neither can Apple/Google Support ask me to.

  • iOS: Settings app > tap your name at the top > Subscriptions > SDET Coach > Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > SDET Coach > Cancel subscription.

Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Apple and Google process refunds, not me. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS, or the refund flow on Google Play for Android. If they decline and you think you have a legitimate case (app stopped working, charged after cancelling, wrong tier), email me and I’ll advocate on your behalf — but the final decision is theirs.

I was charged after my free trial, is that right?

Yes, that’s how auto-renewing free trials work: if you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the 7-day trial ends, the subscription starts automatically. You can see the renewal date in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iOS and the equivalent on Android. If you cancel during the trial you still get access until the end of the trial and won’t be charged.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in with the same email address on the new device, then open the app and tap Settings > Restore purchases. As long as you’re signed into the same Apple ID (or Google account) that bought the subscription, entitlement comes back in a few seconds via RevenueCat.

Can I use my iOS subscription on Android (or vice versa)?

Yes for monthly and annual plans, as long as you sign in to SDET Coach with the same email on both devices. No for Lifetime — it’s tied to the store it was bought from by Apple/Google platform rules, not by my choice.

The AI feedback got something wrong. Can you fix it?

Possibly — send me the question ID, your answer, and the feedback via Report a content issue. If it’s a prompt / guidance issue I’ll update the coach prompt in the next release. If it’s a one-off model hallucination, I can’t stop that individual response from having existed, but your report helps me tune the system.

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the app: Settings > Account > Delete account. Confirm with your email and everything associated with your user ID is removed within 30 days, except billing records I have to keep for UK tax purposes (6 years). If the in-app flow isn’t working, email me from the address on your account and I’ll do it manually.

Is my practice answer used to train any AI?

No. Your answers go to Anthropic’s Claude API under their commercial terms, which exclude API inputs from model training. See the Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list and retention windows.

SDET Coach supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver on iOS, and TalkBack and font-scale on Android. If something’s unreadable, unreachable or doesn’t announce correctly for you, please email me — accessibility bugs jump the queue.
